A History of Haitian Art

Margaret Andera, an independent curator and former curator of contemporary art at the Milwaukee Art Museum, will take a look at the history of Haitian art, including the founding of the Centre d'Art in Port au Prince in 1994. She will highlight the influences from Africa and Europe on Haitian art and the status of Haitian art in the art world today.
