Seven Lectures by Distinguished Persons in the Art World

The Fine Arts Society of Peoria, Illinois, was founded in 1962 to offer a guided series of lectures and other programs devoted to exploration of the arts and to invite to the community distinguished speakers who are experts in their respective disciplines. Over the past 50 seasons, FAS has made a substantial contribution to the cultural life of Central Illinois.

The Society meets on the second Thursday of each month, October through April, at 9:30 a.m. for coffee, followed by the one-hour lecture at 10 A.M. Unless otherwise indicated, programs are held at Lakeview Museum, 1125 West Lake Ave., Peoria.

FAS membership includes admission to the seven lectures, which are also open to the public. Single program tickets cost $10.00 for adults and $2.00 for students.
